Streets of New Your City ...

    During the 20th century the NYC was without doubt the “center of everything”.

Here whatever you could see was either the biggest, the tallest, the most advanced, the most beautiful and charming or even all of that together.

NYC was often challenging our imagination and the “laws of physics” as we were able to comprehend them.

These days the relentless pressure from the developing countries – be it Beijing, Shanghai, Dubai , Rio de Janeiro ……challenges many of these “best”, “biggest” or “tallest”, however it does not take (because it cannot) what the NYC is appreciated and cherished for.

I hope that the following pictures can prove not only the past grandeur but also today’s splendor of this magnificent city.
