Iguanas bring us to the contemporary Jurassic-like world in miniature.
The two left pictures below present iguanas from Costa Rica’s famous Caño Negro wildlife refuge.

I'm glad that they are small - imagine dinosaurs-like size....
Believe or not, but these green iguanas (lizards) can “walk on the water”… I saw it with my own eyes! They simply run so fast that with the extra help from the shape of their foot they can stay on the surface of the water. Locals call them (with all respect) "Jesus Iguana".
Below:
The left picture of iguana was taken in Dominica – small Caribbean island between Martinique and Guadeloupe. She invited herself for our picnic, fearlessly watching our preparations from the top of the table.
We tried to show the hospitality deserved for these little creatures in their own homeland of Dominica.
On the right – iguana (lizard) picture from Tenerife captured during his afternoon walk. Obviously it is not a native specie from this part of the world.

He is so old - if he only could talk, we may hear amazing stories from "high seas".
Looking at two left-side turtles' pictures you will see century old creatures. Surprisingly for us (taking everything in "human dimensions") - they are quite "full of life".
